WELCOME Parents and Students in Mrs. Ellsworth’s Class!

Welcome!  I am looking forward to an excellent year together!

We will have a successful year together with support both in the classroom and at home!  I am here to give your child the best education they can receive with your support!  I am always open to communication via email or note!  I check email at least twice a day and will respond as soon as I am able.

Please read all of the information below for VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION related to our classroom!

• Homework is crucial!  It lets you know what is happening in the classroom, it is done every evening (45 minutes-1 hour) and it should be done relatively independently.  If your child struggles immensely please let me know so I can revisit the topic with your child!
• Behavior expectations are high.  Students are responsible for their actions and we will discuss expectations from day one.  Your support is appreciated.  We have a lot of fun in fourth grade, but proper behavior is always required!
• PLEASE sign up to volunteer.  There are many opportunities throughout the year to help in and out of the classroom.

• I use lots of lamps and natural light in the classroom because the florescent lights give me migraines.
